Bad breath? Halitosis? Even if you’ve got a hygiene challenge like this, there’s a mouthwash to cure it!
Have you ever noticed the person you’re chatting with take evasive action, like holding a hand over her mouth and nose, or taking a step back? One of the rotten things about mouth odour is that you don’t know you’re wafting it out with every word, but those around you sure do!
Dr Mel Rosenberg, professor of Microbiology at the University of Tel Aviv, has researched body odours for years. Among other things, he’s invented a very effective mouthwash called ‘Dentyl pH’, which is now available in South Africa.
We got some from Clicks – R49.95 for a 500ml bottle. It tastes good, leaves a nice fresh feeling in the mouth, and worth every cent for the confidence it gives us when talking with others.
Prof Rosenberg has a website that’s full of useful info about the causes of mouth odour. Apparently, it’s not often something we’ve eaten, but rather what’s growing on our tongues. Yuk! What a thought!

Hi Gabriel.
Sorry, but I’ve no idea where you can get Dentyl pH in Nigeria. I did look on the website for you, but there isn’t a list of countries or suppliers.
Here in South Africa, it’s available in some of the large pharmacy chain stores. Perhaps if you went along to the nearest big pharmacy to where you live, they could get it for you.
By the way, I’m just finishing a post with some helpful info about preventing bad breath, dental decay, and gum disease, so you may like to visit us again soon, Gabriel.
