GNLD South Africa

Golden Products South Africa began in 1971, when two succesful distributors from Australia, Bill Binns and Graham Caldwell, arrived in Johannesburg. In those days, there was absolutely nothing here: no products, and no literature. No-one had even heard of Golden Products!

Thanks to the vision and perseverance of Bill and Graham, and to entrepreneurs who saw the potential of Golden Products, the company became established, and the products well known in South Africa.

At first, there was just a handful of household cleaning products. They’re even more popular today, 37 years later… a fantastic track record and testimony to their efficacy.

Each one is biodegradable, economical, and enviro-friendly. They’re also concentrates, to which you add your own tap-water. We like that, ‘cos we’re not paying for water at cleaner prices.

It also means that a 1-litre bottle of Super 10 concentrate, a well known universal cleaner, will make 22 x 500ml spray bottles of cleaning fluid. So, instead of throwing away a plastic bottle every week, we throw away just one recycleable plastic Super 10 bottle every 3 months or so. Thanks to Golden Products, just imagine the huge decrease in the number of plastic bottles in South African land-fill sites in the last 37 years!

Jerry Brassfield, who founded Golden Products in 1958, in California, also owned two other companies: Neo Life and Diamite. A few years ago, the three companies were brought together under one roof, and the new company named Golden Neo Life Diamite International.

Or GNLD for short.

As a result of the amalgamation, Neo Life products and Diamite products, alongside Golden products, became available from GNLD South Africa with the new GNLD branding.

We now have Home Care, Skin & Personal Care, Herbal, Weight Control, and Health Care ranges, about 100 products in all. In other words, something for everyone.

Thanks to the work of pioneering distributors, GNLD South Africa has expanded way beyond South Africa’s borders, and is now empowering people in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroun, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Lesotho, and Swaziland. There’s a lot of cross-border activity, so people in other countries enjoy GNLD products too, and it won’t be long before another country in Africa is officially welcomed to GNLD, and the lives of even more Africans are improved in a way no other company has been able to do.

GNLD has a network of Distribution Centres around Africa, where distributors can order and collect products. They’re great places to meet and show new people the exciting business aspect, as well as attending training and recognition functions.

The Centre in Johannesburg is still the HQ of GNLD Africa. Owing to the increasing demand for products and the home based business, GNLD has recently moved from Kempton Park to a brand new centre in Longmeadow.

Here are the contact details of the new Headquarters…

Physical address: 2 Ayrshire Boulevard, Longmeadow Business Estate, Longmeadow 1609.

Postal address: GNLD International (Pty) Ltd, Private Bag 255, Kempton Park, 1620.

Tel landline: 011 409 3000 tel toll free: 0800 600 790 fax landline: 011 409 3820.

Orders can also be sent to a fax2email number: 086 636 9235 or by email to jhborders@gnld.co.za

It’s been an amazing success story, that continues to gain momentum. Graham Caldwell has sadly passed, but Bill Binns, now a Vice-President of GNLD International, is still a powerhouse of energy, travelling all round the world enthusiatically promoting GNLD products and the GNLD business opportunity.

Roget Uys, who did an amazing job at the helm of GNLD Africa, is now President and CEO of GNLD International, based at company headquarters in Fremont, California. We think that a South African steering the global company is a really fitting tribute to the success of GNLD in Africa, and to the positive difference it has made in the lives of thousands on this beautiful continent.

Nowhere better than Africa to see the company motto ‘People Empowering People’ in action. And indirectly, of course, it’s a tribute to the dreams and tenacity of the first two distributors, Graham Caldwell, and Bill Binns.

Not long ago, a Special Edition of the Home Business Connection magazine told GNLD’s story. If you’d like to read about the company, the products, Jerry Brassfield, and other success stories online, please click on the Home Business Connection link in the blogroll below. Enjoy!

I dont want a name to be drawn to mud, and GNLD cant be, kindly confirm the reality of this promotion, for conscience sake and for the good of humanity, let me know the truth. I will appreciate if you do this findings for me. Iam a Nigerian, an African.
Pastor Udeme E Umoh

Pastor, this is an email scam that’s got nothing whatsoever to do with GNLD.
GNLD does not run any kind of lottery.
Here’s the best thing to do…
Do not open the email.
Do not reply to it.
Delete it.

Hello Faisal. You’ve made a fantastic choice with GNLD. The person who introduced you (your sponsor) will be able to explain how you make money with GNLD’s business plan. Your sponsor will also help you set your goals, and keep you informed about training opportunities in your area. There is also some very useful info here…
http://ww1.gnld.com/pages/businessguide_cd1005/gnldbustools_web/content/marketing.html
We wish you great success, Faisal!

Hello Hawa. I’ve sent you an email, asking which country you’re in so I can give you the correct info… so far no reply. If you’re still interested, you may like to get some info online. A really good way of getting to know how this business works is to look at a short movie. It’s been produced by a multi-millionaire businessman and a Harvard-trained Professor at the University of Illinois.
If you go to our webpage at http://www.explorefreedom.com/start you’ll see a bit about us, and on the left of the page, some blue clickable rectangular buttons. The one marked ‘Brilliant Compensation’ is the business one.
Please click on it. A new page will open. Fill in the two boxes, and within a short time, a movie ticket will arrive in your inbox.
After you’ve had a chance to view it, I’ll try to contact you by email again, Hawa.

Hi Peter.
Thank you for visiting our blog and writing a comment.
Did you ask the lady to help you get started? (The one who told you about GNLD products.)
If she is unable to help you, we will be pleased to do so, Peter.
I’ve emailed you directly.
In the meantime, you may like to browse GNLD’s Africa website at http://www.gnld.co.za
There’s lots of good stuff there.
Wish you all the best for a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2009.

pls, I need guidiance on how to use the web to showcase my GNLD business in Nigeria.Must I open a website ?

Hi Emele.
Thanks for visiting. Opening a website can be a costly business if you’re not able to set everything up yourself. A web designer will charge for creating the website, and there are monthly hosting costs to consider, too.
However, you can get on the internet for no set-up fees, and no hosting fees. If you go to http://www.wordpress.com you will be able to sign up very easily for a free blog site. It’s a great way of getting started, ‘cos it’s not only free, it’s designed so anyone can use it. Have fun!

where can i buy gnld in Port Elizabeth am needing Care

Hello Liz.
Thanks for visiting our blog and leaving a message in the comment box. If you contact Jeff & Ragel Rielly they’ll be able to help you. I’ve emailed you their telephone numbers. We’re members of their Durban team, and I know they will most likely have someone near where you live in PE, who can help you get some Care.

Hi i would like more info about the Gnld business opportunity i have joined mlm before but am still unable to get anywhere with it What disappoints me is once you’ve joined you never get any help in getting started you always left in the dark. Plse also let me know, do you get a website when you join and does it work on autopilot and are you trained on how to work the system? Do you get a merchant account as well? Where and when is training held in Durban SA? Hope to hear from you soon

Hello Shannon.
I guess a lot of people will identify with your words. Perhaps part of the problem is that some companies pay their distributors for signatures, which I think encourages the sponsor to rush off, looking for the next autograph.
GNLD doesn’t pay for signatures. The sponsor only receives a benefit if the new distributor actually does something. In other words, right from the start it’s very clear… if the sponsor doesn’t help the newbie achieve success, or if the newbie does nothing and sits back waiting for the sponsor to build his/her business for them, nothing happens.
At the end of the day, it’s all about moving products. Sponsoring tons of people, who do nothing, isn’t MLM. If products aren’t being used and sold, there’s no income-generating business.
When we sponsor someone, we make a commitment that we’ll freely give all the help the sponsored person asks for. I’ve put the last two words in italics to emphasise them. I’m useless at telepathy. And I don’t like chasing people to get them off the couch away from the TV. The best person for us is the one who asks millions of questions! Then we spring into action, enjoying working with the enthusiatic distributor. That includes training on the products, doing product demonstrations for the new person, training on GNLD’s business model, training on sales technique, and training on inviting techniques. For the latter we like very much the way Tim Sales does it in his excellent programme called ‘Professional Inviter’. You may like to sign up for his free newsletter (and get a free MLM booklet) here… http://www.firstclassmlmtools.com/
As far as meetings go, we’ve found that nowadays people don’t like driving about at night. And a lot of people prefer not to go to meetings at all, because they get enough of those at work during the day. So, our training has become tailored to suit individual needs. Want us to do a product demonstration at your house on a Saturday morning? Great: we’ll bring all the stuff and show you how it’s done. Want to meet in your lunch break to help with a prospect? Great: we’ll be there. Prefer chatting on the phone in Callmore time? Great. We’ll phone you. Prefer to do it by email? Great. Fire away.
We’re developing our online facilities to provide information (training) for distributors and customers. And of course, eventually we want to sell products online, too. A shopping cart is quite a complicated business though, as there are many issues to consider, like credit card security.
Apart from this blog, we’ve got a static website at http://www.healthybusiness.co.za I’m gradually updating. Among other things, I’ve written an explanation of how GNLD works. There’s also a product guide you can browse through online for information about all GNLD’s products available in South Africa. And I’ve started another WordPress blog linked to the website (www.healthybusiness.co.za/blog) that’s going to be mainly about the specifics of GNLD products.
GNLD doesn’t provide a website: you have to do it yourself, Shannon. Once registered with GNLD, you can get a free page for ordering online, but it’s not a website. If you don’t know how to set up a website, you’ll need to pay someone to do it for you. And then when it’s up and running there’s a monthly hosting fee. The young chap doing our hosting is very competent, enthusiatic, and charges much less than most.
I can personally help you set up a free blog at WordPress.com so you have a web presence, Shannon. There’s no hosting fee, and it’s very easy to get started.
Is it possible to build a successful MLM business on autopilot? Personally, I don’t think so. Sure, you can sell products. And you can get people to join online. But at some stage the rubber needs to hit the road for some personal interaction. MLM is, as they say, a peoples’ business. That’s a lot of the fun of it.
Would be great to have a chat with you Shannon. Would you email me your telephone number?
